Experiences

San Diego Zoo

Do our past
experiences
sharpen
our minds?
Do our hard-shelled
world views go
softened
after a worldwide
vacation?
When millions of
pieces of ashy
thoughts roam
our mind,
Is it acceptable
to pray that
some will die?
Experiences add
connections
to our inner
system,
turning red
herring
into
green
landscapes,
we either
win or
lose
footholds,
but we
always
move on...

The Story of Osprey By Kay Ryan

Osprey the awesome bird, google.com

The great taloned osprey
nests in Scotland,
He nest's the biggest
thing around, a spiked basket
with hungry ugly osprey off spring
in it. For months she sits on it.
He fishes, riding four-pound salmon
home like rockets. They get
all the way where before they die,
so muscular and brilliant
swimming through the sky.

The 'Dream' Dances

 Google.com

They snore,
Turning the green leaves brown,
They rattle,
Facts become a nightmare to the town,
He transforms his thoughts into fish,
or fish alike fish
hanging bare near the telephone.
.
Stars drop to their net,
Girls, blonde and young,
Chime in as birds, unwed,
Begin to dance along,
In dawn, music jangled magic box
draw me close,
and grief becomes nightmare in their steps.
.
And thus, fish not fish,
but wish
that stirs up their dreams.
