I Was Pleased 2 See Christmas Light Glow (December Reflections)

I took a walk in my neighborhood,
And I understood
The story of the little red riding hood,
I obtained a cheerful mood.
.
Geese fly,
vanishing from the sky,
Darkness settles in, veiling the earth low and high,
I smelled homemade apple pie.
.
I ended my walk
and halted my silent self-talk.
The shadow of myself followed me through,
I was pleased to see Christmas light glow.

Rick Perry and More

Share
Gov. Rick Perry today announced that the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has granted his request to provide disaster assistance to storm victims in Caldwell, Hays and Travis counties, which experienced severe flooding on October 31st. This decision automatically makes those also affected in the neighboring counties of Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Comal, Fayette, Gonzales, Guadalupe and Williamson eligible for the same federal assistance. "The tragedy of last month's storms weighs heavily on the hearts of all of us in Central Texas," Gov. Perry said. "This much needed assistance will help our families and local businesses get back on their feet and on the road to recovery as quickly as possible."
Homeowners, renters and businesses in all 11 counties will be eligible to apply for long-term, low-interest SBA disaster loans. Homeowners can borrow up to $200,000 for residential damages, and renters and homeowners may borrow up to $40,000 to replace or repair personal property was lost as a result of the flood. Businesses of any size and nonprofit organizations can borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace real estate assets, machinery and equipment, business inventory and other business assets damaged by the storm. The loans are offered at low interest rates for terms of up to 30 years.
A Disaster Loan Outreach Center will open in Travis County on Monday, November 25, and centers will open in Caldwell and Hays counties after the Thanksgiving holiday. Location information for the centers is included below.

Autumn by Sheila Butterfly

Autumn was it when we first met
Autumn is it what I can't forget

Autumn have made me alive
because in Autumn you entered my life

In Autumn you came like a summer breeze
I didn't realize what it is

In Autumn I fell in love at first sight
I knew that everything was alright

In Autumn there was that special dance
I knew our love will not have a chance

In Autumn I was under your spell
Autumn - a secret I will never tell

In Autumn you showed me pride
I wish I had never left your side

In Autumn miracles came true
everything I was longing for was you

That Autumn changed my life in many ways
I will never forget those special days

Autumn was it when we first met
Autumn is it what I can't forget

I have a great team of drupal developers ofshore, but as I get close to launching beta, the need for quicker turnarounds, day meetings, as well as a Technical lead versus a technical team which I can't lead becomes evident.

I am toying with the idea of a late joining technical "Co-Founder"/ Team Member . . . I am pretty bootstrapped, but I am confident my model will make revenue, just unclear on how much.

The website will be a web 2.0 environment for the tutoring industry.

If you are a drupal expert, want real life start up experience, (hoping to go beta in October), and are willing to work out an equity deal, please email me. I think even someone looking for a side project would work initially.

Good luck on all your co-findings

We're 2 years into development of a sizeable start-up project, having raised                                   significant angel funding and we're looking to expedite the development process                                   to have a deployable product in the coming months. We have completed 85% of                                  the development required for our 1st release. We estimate approximately 3 months                                  full time work to bring the product to launch.
We're looking for a pretty savvy Drupalist to join the team on an equity basis to assist the current development team in finishing the product off.
We'd prefer someone in the UK but will consider those from farther afield. The project itself is groundbreaking from a business logic perspective but also quite complicated from a                          Drupal perspective so we need someone who really knows their stuff, ideally someone                             who has worked on relatively large and complex web applications before.
We have undertaken significant pre-sales both in the UK and overseas, our future clients are telling us that we're onto something big! Please get in touch if you're interested in finding out some more about us
You can mail me at patrick@sboj.com or get in touch directly with our CEO Nick Gray at nick@sboj.com

The Artists (Virgins=New Hand=Freshman or New Workers)

Old hands or virgins,
Artists soak paints of scarlet,
white daises and viridity of tender leaves,
Their vividness in virtus
asnap with altered traditions,
The Sum-Mon of wisdom,
The helplessness
in the wisest meshwork of mind
are human of waters,
colorful emptiness,
Tom-Or-Row is a mope,
Today is a mote,
Grab a beer,
let the goat have a say, dear.

~::~ Here I Lay ~::~By MegZone

Image
Here I lay
Gaping at the stars
Wondering where they play
In this vast expanse
Here I lay
Wondering what to do
Should I play?
Or work harder than I should
Here I lay
In dungeons of fiery hell
Pondering in dismay
Distraught, fighting my own quell
Here I lay
In hope of a better tomorrow
Destiny led astray
Buried six feet in sorrow
Here I lay
 In shadows deep and dark
Rotting in decay
Searching for a sole faint spark
Here I lay
Incarcerated in an iron fence
In misery I flay
Questioning my very existence.
